Alan is a DCA Licensed Coach at Hockley and also at The Deanes Sports College. Alan is very involved in the local tennis scene and runs a "Thunderball" LTA Sanctioned summer tournament at the Deanes Sports College. Alan has recently been invited to help with the fixtures at Danbury LTC in Chelmsford.

Chris joins the S&D LTA as of Feb 2009 and is a DCA Licensed Coach at Rochford TC. His primary focus has been on Junior Tennis and developing Rochford into a successful club. Until recent injuries, Chris is also the Area Representative for Essex Tennis in the Southend & District Region |

Steve has been the tournament secretary since 1996 and runs varies events throughout the year. Prior to this he was the League secretary. Returning to competetive Tennis in 2010 he has lost none of his skill, reaching the mens doubles final in the Winter Tournaments. |

Hazel continues to run the Patrons Club for the S&D LTA and was also kind enough to write up the minutes for the AGM. Hazel has won the Mized Doubles Tournament with her husband Steve and is always present at the tournament finals to drum up interest for the Patrons Club. |

COMPETITIONS SECRETARY

Geoff took over as the League Secretary in 2008 and has managed to set up what is now a very large junior league. For 2011 the junior League series has tripled in size to 96 entries, sustained a boys team tennis league for U12, U14 & U16 and extended the junior competitions to include U9's. All of the events are LTA Sanctioned at Grade 5 |

Graham joins the S&D LTA for 2011 to help support the junior competitions. With the Leagues increasing for a 3rd year running, Grahams appointment comes as a very welcome addition to the team. Graham is a licensed coach and also a very accomplished player for David Lloyd Southend and he represents Thorpe Bay LTC in the AEGON National Tennis League |
